Headquarters of the Tunisian General Labor Union

The headquarters of the Tunisian General Labor Union “UGTT” includes 2 basements, a ground floor and 6 floors.
The protection of the neighboring external road to the project and the adjoining buildings against possible displacement or settlement following excavation work with a depth of approximately 10 m was ensured by the execution of adjoining piles 24 m deep over the entire length of the neighboring buildings and public roads.
The work was carried out without any damage whatsoever. The main and right side facade are covered with 3 cm thick Kedhal marble placed on a ventilated wall on a metal structure.
The headquarters of the UGTT is among the best buildings constructed in Tunisia given the construction techniques used and the beauty of the building.
