Description

Being greatly satisfied with our works executed in USA embassy in Tunisia in 2001, eleven years later, our American partner BL HARBERT entrusted us with the civil engineering works of the American embassy in Morocco.

For its 17,000 m2 of covered space in the main building and the 11,000 m2 of the two semi-underground car parks, 26,000 m3 of reinforced concrete were poured and 3,600 tons of steel used in a period of 14 months, requiring 1,164,000 hours of labor. 200,000 m3 of excavated material were previously carried out.

Challenges

The major challenge consisting in maintaining the walls of excavations bordering on neighboring buildings was solved through the use of the CFA pile technique with the installation of ground anchors and the application of shotcrete.
The works were delivered 01 month ahead of schedule, to full satisfaction of the customer.
